I like to use this blend as a multivitamin in tea form!

By letting these herbs steep for a really long time, I notice that my micro nutrient intake increases when drinking this infusion.

My research has shown how nutrient rich the herbs in this blend are, full of all kinds of vitamins and minerals, and regularly drinking a strong infusion of them increases my general well being.

All Organic Ingredients:

  • Dandelion Leaf
  • Nettle Leaf
  • Alfalfa Leaf
  • Marshmallow Root
  • Peppermint

I find this nutrition tea to be better suited for the summer months, as it has more cooling properties than the liquid nutrition and can cool me off too much in the cold winter, but is perfect for cooling in the hot summer. And it has a great minty taste!

I get best results with this tea by brewing up a large amount at once, usually a 1 liter mason jar.  This way I have the tea readily available and I can sip on it throughout the day without having to make a fresh cup each time.

The second key for my success with this tea is steeping it for a super long time so I can get the most goodness out of the herbs.  I do this by simply placing about 1 teaspoon of herb per cup of water (so 3-4 tsps in 1 liter mason jar) in the jar and then pouring the hot water over the herbs in the jar and leaving it for the rest of the day to steep.

I don’t strain out the herbs while I drink from the jar, as I find they continue to enhance the effectiveness of the tea by steeping longer.  Over the day, the tea gets stronger and I find it works better for me.

I often store it in the refrigerator as it cools down so it keeps even longer and if I don’t drink it all in one day, it is still good the next day.

I often steep this tea over night and then use it as the liquid base for a smoothie in the morning.  It adds a great extra level of goodness to a delicious smoothie.
